Caving
the hidden earth! Stalagmites, stalactites, gour pools and fossils are
all found among ancient phreatic, fossil and stream passages; these are
just some of the amazing sights to be found underground in the
Limestone areas of the UK and world-wide.
To journey into this hidden world you could be walking, stooping, crawling, abseiling, climbing waterfalls and ascending climbs.
Equipped with warm clothing, an oversuit, helmet and a lamp it is possible to explore this fascinating environment.
If you wish to go deeper you can learn the skills of abseiling and ascending a rope to reach the depths of our ancient caves.
