Every other Wednesday evening, starting on the 3rd October, we are running guided trips to the best of the Yorkshire pots. Undertaking trips that can be completed in a 4 hour round trip and therefore be out in time for last orders.

It is expected that each person is proficient at SRT in ascent and descent including passing rebelays and deviations. 

The aim of these evenings is to allow local cavers (capable of looking after themselves) the chance of descending caves after work  such as sections of Lost Johns, Marble Steps, Rowten, Bull Pot, Easgill System, Alum Pot, Notts Pot and other caves on Leck Fell and Kingsdale. Our staff will rig the caves with all equipment supplied by Ascent Training.

We plan to meet at the parking area in Cowan Bridge behind the post office at 6.30pm. 

The cost per person is £30 

Please contact us for more details and requests for the caves to be descended. A programme will then be advertised on this page.

Please note we will only turn up at this location if you have contacted us in advance. Please do not turn up on speck in the hope that we will be there.
