The course will look at all the essential aspects of sea cliff climbing: abseil and tidal approaches (including the use of tide tables), stance management and organisation (on what can sometimes be a hanging stance a few feet above the sea), guide book and route selection, methods of escape and a multitude of other scenarios that students wish to learn.

This course is generally run in Wales but could be run in a variety of venues including Pembroke and Lundy. 

The staff ratio is of course high with two students to one very experienced instructor.
