k so why Mallorca? Though I dont like to use the word guaranteed the weather is perfect this time of year pretty much guaranteed that we will have 5 days of perfect weather. This certainly won't be the case in the UK in April. The rock is perfect and though most people associate Mallorca with sport climbing it has a huge amount of traditional climbing, both single pitch and multi pitch. With a course in April this
will set you up for the spring and summer in th UK.
The course is for anyone who wants a fun and educational introduction
to rock climbing. This course is ideal for beginners and indoor wall climbers who would like to develop their skills to help them climb confidently outside at the crag.
The ratio for the course will not excede 1:2 for the duration of the course so learning is maximised.
All the instructors are dedicated climbers and have a great depth of knowledge of the crags in Mallorca. They are qualified and experienced in teaching climbing at all levels from beginners to more advanced climbers and will be able to pass on their knowledge to you.
The course will include a day multi pitch climbing on the impressive larger crags that the island has to offer.

- Introduction to simple ropework
- Belaying
- Single and multi pitch ascents
- Abseiling
- Use of technical equipment
- Understanding the principles of lead climbing
- Safe descents
- Climbing and movement coaching
- Introduction to sport climbing techniques
Course cost and accommodation details
Cost £450 per peson based on two students (the ratio is 1:2 for the five days).
This cost does not include flights or acommodation. Flights with Ryan air are generally no more than £100 and we can pick you up from the airport.
The cost includes travel during the week but no accomodation.
